Remote Horse Vet FAQ

Still have questions about how Remote Horse Vet works? We’ve compiled clear answers to the most common queries from horse owners and veterinary professionals to help you feel confident about using our platform.

Questions from horse owners:

How do I book a consultation?

For now, you can contact us directly through WhatsApp, Telegram, Email or Facebook Messenger. Simply click on the “Book a Consultation” button, and follow the link. Payment we will sort out later!

Can you prescribe medications during an online consult?

While we can provide expert advice and treatment recommendations, prescription laws vary by country. We can guide you on what to discuss with your local vet for obtaining necessary medications.

What if my horse needs hands-on treatment?

Our consultations are ideal for guidance, second opinions, and remote assessment, but if hands-on care is needed, we’ll advise you on what to do next and whether a local vet visit is required. We can also work together with the local veterinarian if he/she needs help with the case, not a problem! Again, we are here to assist owner and vets!

How much does a consultation cost?

Consultation for horse owners range from 29$ (without video call) to 39$ without video call. If you are in a third world country we can apply a significant discount for you. Again, we are here to help you with your horse first, then we will worry about all the other bits later!
